2011世界大學科研論文質量排名 
臺大土木學門世界排名第12

國立臺灣大學圖書資訊學系黃慕萱教授2011年11月10日公佈「2011年世界大學科研論文質量排名」（http://taiwanranking.lis.ntu.edu.tw/Default.aspx），其中臺灣大學在土木學門排名為世界第12名（見表1），為所公布理工農十三個學門中國內次佳排名（成功大學電機領域世界排名第10為國內最佳排名）。

此項排名2007年起原由財團法人高等教育評鑑中心基金會主辦，自2011年起改由國立臺灣大學獨立執行與公佈。本項排名以科研論文質量為主要依據，評比項目包含有學術生產力（佔20％）、學術影響力（佔30％）及學術卓越性（佔50％）等三大面向，採記指標包含有「11年論文數」、「當年論文數」、「11年被引用數」、「2年被引用數」、「平均被引用數」、「H指數」、「高被引文章數」及「高影響期刊論文數」等八項。在排名方面，除了依照學校整體表現進行排序之外，也同時針對六個領域（理、工、農、醫、生命、社會）及理、工、農中的十三個學門進行排名（理學：物理、化學、數學、地球科學；工學：土木、機械、化工、材料、電機、資訊；農學：農業、環境、植物與動物）。

根據這項科研論文質量評比報告，在學校排名上，臺灣大學排名為世界第120名，為全國最優。而六個領域中，臺灣大學排名分別為：工學22、理學70、農學87、臨床醫學175、生命科學197、社會科學220。以上六個領域排名，臺灣大學都是全國最優， 另外很明顯的工學領域較其他領域之排名亮麗許多。

臺灣大學在理學領域四個學門的排名分別是：化學47、物理80、數學81、地科94。在工學領域六個學門的排名分別是：土木12、電機12、化工23、材料25、資訊43、機械105。在農學領域三個學門的排名分別是：農業34、環境91、植物與動物203。以上十三個學門，臺灣大學在十個學門為全國最優，非全國最優者有三個，包括電機12（僅次於成大電機10）、資訊43（僅次於成大資訊13、交大資訊23）及機械105（僅次於成大機械39）。

今年度在土木學門方面，臺大土木學門之科研論文質量排名為世界第12名（去年為第10名）亞洲第4名，雖然世界排名較去年退步2名，不過比較其他學門排名，表現還是相當優異。細觀臺灣大學土木學門2011及2010年各項指標（見最後一頁表2）可以發現，我們之科研論文成果在過去長時間表現穩健，長、短期指標均呈現出一致的傑出水準，其中又以「高被引文章數」及「高影響期刊論文數」這兩項指標最佳，都在前10名內（註：表中皆為名次），足見我們在學術表現之卓越性。而相對表現較弱的項目為「平均被引次數」及「H指數」，這點說明了目前所發表的論文其影響度仍未達到應有的齊一水準，因此未來在從事科研論文發表時，除了追求數量及卓越度外，如何使其影響均勻的展現在每一篇論文上是我們應該繼續努力的方向。
