Good Luck and Farewell

Deven Wang 王延傑

Greetings. I am Deven Wang 王延傑. I have finished my senior year in civil engineering but not graduated yet. Even though it is a little bit weird to stay here for one more year, I am really happy to see my classmates graduating successfully. Some is going to military services and some is preparing to study abroad, job hunting or even pursuing graduate degrees in NTU. It’s about time to start thinking about future, a new chapter of my life.

I would like to thank everyone joining my life in these four years. Thank to my teachers, classmates, teammates and friends for this awesome college life. Although I did not spend much time with my civil engineering classmates but these precious memory will be never forgotten! The nights staying up for assignments, designing bridges, assembling model of exposition center (screwing until stop feeling our finger), constructing 3D digital model (using the keyboard as pillow), surveying building on campus (feeding mosquitos) are the most remarkable moments in civil engineering classes.

I would like to thank to the senior students that help me survive at some difficult classes with their generous help on homework. Most of these senior students are not in our departments but oversea Chinese Student Association friends. Not only for academic support, I really also enjoyed party time with them. In addition, my rugby teammates are like my family and playing rugby helps me lose 20kg weight. Meeting new people and learning different cultures makes my college life colorful.

Good luck and farewell to my dearest friends. May you have a bright and successful future!
